Get an Idaho Marriage License

Find Idaho Divorce Records
Search iCourt by spouse name, county, and family case, then request the decree from the filing county clerk. Idaho Vital Records can issue an event certificate for a qualifying divorce filed from May 1947 forward, but it does not hold property division, custody terms, support orders, pleadings, or the signed decree.
The public court file can include the petition, summons, proof of service, orders, and decree. Mandatory financial disclosure material is generally exchanged rather than filed, while minor identifiers, medical data, protected addresses, and sealed exhibits remain restricted. The official Idaho divorce process requires six weeks of state residence for the petitioner and offers packets for cases with or without minor children.
Idaho recognizes irreconcilable differences and also retains traditional statutory grounds. After filing, authorized service must be documented. Property, debt, and income disclosures are ordinarily exchanged within 35 days unless the matter resolves by default or stipulation in that period. A divorce becomes final when the judge signs the decree. A Vital Records certificate can confirm the event, but only the signed decree states the resulting legal terms.

The mail request identifies the certificate type, parties' names and prior names, event date and county, number of copies, requester's relationship and address, purpose, signature, identification, and payment.
